Ruto Secures 2,500 Jobs in Saudi Arabia Paying Ksh200,000
"I want to assure Kenyans that I am personally committed to creating jobs for our youth," Ruto said in a statement.
He said the jobs were secured during his recent visit to Saudi Arabia, where he met with King Salman and other senior officials.
Ruto said the jobs will be in various sectors, including healthcare, education, and construction.
He said the government will work with the private sector to ensure that Kenyans are placed in these jobs.
"This is a great opportunity for our young people to gain valuable experience and skills," Ruto said.
The president's announcement has been met with mixed reactions from Kenyans. Some have praised Ruto for his efforts to create jobs, while others have expressed skepticism about the feasibility of the plan.
It remains to be seen whether Ruto will be able to deliver on his promise of securing 2,500 jobs in Saudi Arabia. However, his announcement is a positive sign that the government is committed to addressing the issue of unemployment among Kenyan youth.
